Description

This type of bread originally belongs to the Northeastern Iran that borders Afghanistan. This bread was brought to Tehran during the Qajar dynasty.  It is a thick flatbread and sprinkled with seeds such as sesame over the dough is very common. Barbari is baked in heated traditional oven.
